We just purchased an entire living room (2 recliners, sofa and accent chair) from Marlo in Laurel and had a WONDERFUL experience. Both Patrick the sales associate AND Rudy the furniture specialist went above and beyond. Very friendly, patient and knowledgeable. This was our first time shopping with Marlo and will definitely go again. If you plan to shop at Marlo, ask for Patrick! He was great!!
In 2012 we purchased leather set (recliner sofa, recliner lob set, recliner chair) bed, coffee table, side table, dressing table. The delivery guy told that they accidentally made a scratch on leather, and provided us an option of $100 refund or replace the unit. But the catch was, if we decide to go for replacement, we won't get free delivery, so we need to add some money. We chose the $100 refund ticket. Few days later, when we visited the store for the refund, they declined it saying that Marlo changed management and the new management will only honor the warranty but no refund tickets issued on site. Customer service was horrible. Two years after, the drawers of dressing table started to fall apart. The bed squeaked badly. Three years later, the leather of sofa, lobster and chair started peeling off. Four years later, we had to replace everything. I will never go to Marlo even if they offer their stuffs at free of cost.
Went to Marlo to review their furniture selection. I was greeted by Thomas at door. Thomas was very patient working with us and allowing us to look around. Eventually working with Thomas we decided to buy lovely bedroom set. Thomas'a friendly manner as pleasant interaction was a big factor for my purchase at Marlo.
Visited today Thomas was a big help. I told him my vision on want I wanted and he made it happen. Mr. John too was excellent today. They both demonstrated great customer service so now all that needs to happen is that I receive my furniture as expected. This visit today was best than I received in the past. So I hope they continue to hire more great staff members.
Fantastic service! I received top-quality customer service from Thomas. I'll definitely be back. I am moving and needed bedroom, dining, and living room furniture. I started looking when the doors opened. Thomas greeted me, offered help but quickly recognized that I needed time to browse on my own. So instead of hard-selling me on stuff I didn't want he let me cruise on my own and re-assured me that he'd check back on my in case I had questions.This was great--because I like to get 'the big picture' first. Over the next three hours Thomas checked on my, directed me to items on my list, and made suggestions along the way. He quickly picked up on my style and was able to guide me to best ever selections! OMG! Thomas thank you!! I wasn't over-sold but allowed time to get comfortable with my decisions. And I appreciate your kindness, patience, and wisdom! I'll be back for lamps!
